Fort Greene Townhouse

A total gut renovation gave way to a reimagined Historic Landmark brownstone in Fort Greene, Brooklyn on Carlton, one of the most desirable streets in the area. This four-story 18th century building features three units, including a garden-level unit and two floor-through apartments above.

The design kept in mind clean, contemporary design while preserving the iconic brownstone elements of the facade which were renovated to Landmark specification. The rear yard is fully landscaped and features a new wood and steel deck.

The design kept in mind how to tastefully combine a modern, bright white look with the rich texture of original brownstone features.
