Court 16 Manhattan

The design of this Manhattan tennis club strategically layers tennis courts, spectator space, and public concourse area to create a visually dynamic and functional environment. The main feature is a 4-court Tennis Hall incorporating four hybrid pickleball-tennis courts, complemented by a viewing area that runs parallel to the courts, allowing spectators to watch emerging tennis talents. This facility also includes specialized ball training areas for adult tennis enthusiasts - one of the first in the country. The ceiling condition provides opportunities for impactful uplighting and infrastructure integration. The entry lobby is distinguished by its use of tennis yellow in both the backdrop and the custom reception desk, setting an energetic and welcoming tone for members.

The ceiling height was an opportunity to rethink lighting and infrastructure.
