Court 16 Brooklyn, New York

This 26,000 sf youth tennis club is located in Downtown Brooklyn. Seven USTA-sanctioned tennis courts for 12 and under instruction are distributed into an irregularly shaped space. Functional items such as offices, reception, changing rooms, and bathroom spaces are packed into unusable player space, as close to the walls as possible, yielding maximum court area. The suspended linear lighting design reflects court outlines and sizes in the air, while bright colors, patterns, materials, and textures stimulate and delight the club's youthful members and their families.
