Foundation for Jewish Camp
The new office space for an expanding non-profit organization, now in its second generation of development, spans a substantial 10,000 square feet within the heart of midtown Manhattan. The Foundation for Jewish Camp office floor is meticulously designed to cater to a diverse program, encompassing private offices, open workstations, a well-appointed kitchen, spacious conference areas, and an inviting reception area.
A distinguishing feature of this layout is the deliberate layering, extending from the outer periphery of the space toward its central core. The private offices, marked by their transparency and use of glass enclosures, serve a dual purpose. They provide a sense of openness and accessibility, allowing abundant natural light to flood the interior workstations, fostering a brighter and more collaborative work environment. The glass-enclosed offices afford a level of privacy for the occupants, striking a balance between the need for seclusion and the desire for transparency within the organization.
In this design, form and function coalesce to offer an accessible and conducive work environment. The strategic placement of elements within the office floor maximizes not only the utilization of space but also the quality of the working experience, reinforcing the non-profit's commitment to growth and progress.
The program of private offices, open workstations, kitchen, conference, and reception is layered from perimeter to interior.
